Over 900 Philippine and multinational companies have been certified by CIP. Whether large or SMEs, CIP clients represent a wide cross section of Philippine business and public administration. They include government banks and corporations as well as government agencies, such as LGUs and Departments, together with their Bureaus and Regional and Provincial Offices.
In 1997, CIP was the first certification body in the Philippines to achieve accreditation by the Philippine Accreditation Bureau (PAB) of the Department of Trade and Industry for its Quality Management System certification services. Additional accreditation was later conferred on CIP for its Environmental Management System (ISO 14001), Food Safety Management System (ISO 22000) and HACCP certification services. CAI-accredited certification services for FSSC, ISO 45001 and ISO 50001 are accessible through CIP from its overseas partner QSCert, based in the Slovak Republic.
CIP’s accreditation as a certification body demonstrates to CIP customers its rigorous and consistent compliance to ISO and International Accreditation Forum (IAF) requirements governing the integrity, independence and competence of its certification services. CIP’s certification methodology provides value to its customers by helping them ensure that their risk-based management systems operate effectively as a guide for achieving their strategic goals. This approach to certification and emphasis in customer service have strengthened CIP’s reputation and credibility as the leading certification body in the Philippines.
As part of its commitment to the growth and success of its customers, CIP has supported the national effort of raising quality and productivity awareness by exposing these companies to the Philippine Quality Award scheme.
CIP certification auditors are chosen and designated to their respective audit assignments on the basis of their verified competence, independence and extensive experience. They have distinguished themselves with their technical expertise and management know-how.
